📋 Coaching & Specialized Care 📊

What makes your coaches different?

On our team we have highly qualified strength coaches & an accredited exercise physiologist. They all “walk the walk” with years of experience in competitive strength sports. They understand biomechanics, competition standards, long-term athletic programming, injury prevention and management.

What is an Exercise Physiologist (EP), and why may I need one?

An EP is a university-qualified allied health professional. They specialize in clinical exercise interventions for people with injuries, chronic conditions, or complex goals. Having one on-site means your training is backed by high-level medical science.

I have an old injury. Can I still train?

Yes, and you probably should. With an Exercise Physiologist and specialized strength coaches on staff, we excel at “rehab through strength.” We can modify any movement to work around your history and help you get pain-free.

👥 Community & Culture 👥

I don’t want to compete; is this gym still for me?

Definitely. While we have a strong competitive team, the majority of our members are “non-competitors” who just want to be strong, healthy, and capable in everyday life. You’ll fit right in.

Am I too old to start?

Never! Our current members range from 16 to 75 years old. Strength training is the “fountain of youth” for maintaining bone density and mobility. We tailor the intensity to your specific age and ability.

Is the gym “intimidating”?

We pride ourselves on being “ego-free”. You’ll see elite lifters cheering on beginners and vice-versa. It’s a supportive, professional environment where everyone is focused on their own progress.

🏋️ Sports & Equipment 🏋️‍♀️

What is the difference between Powerlifting and Strongman?

  • Powerlifting focuses on the “Big 3”: Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift.
  • Strongman involves more variety, like log presses, atlas stones, and farmers’ walks.
  • We offer equipment and coaching for both, plus general strength training & conditioning!

Can I follow my own program, or do I have to use your coaches?

We offer both! You are welcome to use our facility for your own training, or you can sign up for specialized programming and 1-on-1 coaching with our staff.
